- one foot glide
- backward Swizzle
- Snowplow Stop
- one feet pump(along circle, if clock-wise, then right foot glide, left foot pump) (this is forwards but you can also practice backwards)
- two foot edges (along line, skate in half circle, use hands to navigate)
- forward cross-over(along circle, two foot glide->cross-over, use edges to turn)
- two foot turns(along circle, two foot glide->180 degree turn(from forward to backward, notice your center of gravity)
- T stop
- lunge(front foot glide, bend knee to 90 degree angle, back foot stretching, avoid blade on the ice)
- backward cross-over(reverse version of forward cross-over)
- Spiral(one foot glide, back leg left 90 degree, like ballet dancer)
- Shoot the duck(one foot glide bend your knee like you almost sitting on one feet, the other foot lift strait foward)
- hockey stop
- bunny hop(jump using one toe pick, quickly land at another toe pad and glide forward using one foot, the original one)
- three turns(along circle, use one feet turn, 180 degrees)
- Mohawk(two foot glide->two foot turns->one foot glide backward->turn around and glide forward using the other foot)
- pivot(for right-handed: left toe pad as pivot, right foot pump to circle the pivot, use hand to help yourself circling around)
- two foot spin(pivot->change center of gravity to the middle of the blade)
- Waltz Jump(one foot glide using outside edge, leap slightly and land use the toe pad of the other foot, and glide backwards, swing your other feet backwards to help you)
